-{Recipes}-

-Creamy Tomato Pasta Sauce-

  • 8 ounces uncooked pasta (Any shape of choice)
  • 2 Tablespoons of unsalted butter.
  • 2-3 cloves of pealed and minced garlic.
  • 2 table spoons tomato paste
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons of diced onion.
  • One 14 ounce can of tomato sauce.
  • 3/4 cups of heavy whipping cream.
  • 1/4 tablespoon of Italian seasoning.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1-2/4 tablespoon of sugar. (Depending on how sweet you want your sauce to be)
  • Parmesan cheese over the sauce when finished.
Step one: Boil about 3 1/2-4 cups of water and melt your butter over medium heat. Step two: Once the butter melts add your garlic saute for a minute then add in your onions then saute for another minute stirring constantly. Step Three: Add in your tomato paste and stir for a minute then add the tomato paste, heavy whipping cream, and Italian seasoning stir until its nice and smooth then let it simmer for 5 minutes. Step 4: After 5 minutes add the sugar salt and pepper. (if your sauce gets too thick for your liking then add a splash of pasta water.) Step 5: Your pasta should be ready by now to combine your sauce and noodles then enjoy!

-Meat Balls!-

  • 1 tsp onion powder.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder.
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning.
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper.
  • 1/2 tsp red Chili flakes.
  • A pinch of salt.
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk or sour cream.
  • 1 lb ground beef.
  • 1/2 lb ground pork.
  • 5 cloves of peeled garlic.
  • 2 large eggs.
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese.
  • 3 tbsp parsley.
  • 3 basil leaves.
  • 1 whole shallot.
Step 1: Add your meats into a medium sized bowl. Step 2: Mince your garlic, dice your onions and shallot then put it in the bowl. Step 3: Add your basil, parsley, milk, and 2 eggs. Then take all your seasonings and add them in the bowl. (Onion powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, black pepper, chili flakes, salt.) Step 4: Then finally add your bread crumbs and use your hands (or maybe a spoon if you don’t want to touch the meat) and mix till everything is well incorporated then add your parmesan cheese. Step 5: Set out a pan and preheat your oven to 425F for 20 minutes.

-Sweet potato gnocchi-

  • Two medium sweet potatoes. (250 grams).
  • 1 large egg.
  • 1/2 cup (50g) of parmesan cheese.
  • 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour. (add more if dough isn’t forming)
  • 2 tablespoons (28g) butter for frying.
Step one: you can either boil the potatoes in a pot or poke holes in them with a fork, put a damp paper towel over it, and put it in the microwave for 7 minutes (if not soft in 7 minutes then put in microwave for longer). Step 2: Once potatoes are out of the microwave let them cool then cut it in half and scoop out the guts and put them in a bowl. Step 3; When you have the potato guts in the bowl mash them up and let it cool for 10 minutes before eventually adding the egg and mixing. Step 4: Once the egg is well incorporated slowly add the flour till a non-sticky dough is formed.
